The Wisconsin Badgers ran their second one-day camp for high school players at Camp Randall Stadium and the McClain Center on Sunday. Per the recruiting experts in attendance, there were some players that stood out -- including two with offers already from Wisconsin -- while one player earned himself a scholarship from the coaching staff.
Madison (Memorial), Wis., prospect Jake Ferguson impressed 247Sports' Evan Flood($) and was one of the players that stood out to BadgerBlitz.com'sJon McNamara($). The 6'5, 205-pound grandson of Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez and brother to current Badgers walk-on safety Joe Ferguson blocked and caught the ball well, at least according to the videos put up by Flood and McNamara on Sunday afternoon:
Seems like Ferguson enjoyed himself on the field as well.
