Wisconsin Badgers running back Jonathan Taylor won the 2018 Doak Walker Award on Thursday night, give annually to the nation’s best running back.
Through 12 games, Taylor has rushed for 1,989 yards and 15 touchdowns. He leads the country in rushing yards and rushing yards per game heading into the 2018 Pinstripe Bowl against Miami (4:15 p.m. CT, ESPN).
Taylor joins Melvin Gordon, Montee Ball and Ron Dayne as Badgers who have won the prestigious award.
