Madison — Taylor Mehlhaff fielded one question more than any other during the summer:
Who is going to punt for Wisconsin in 2015?
Mehlhaff, in his first year as quality control assistant working with UW's special teams, politely reminded those making the query that Drew Meyer, a fifth-year senior who had handled punts for the last three seasons, was back.
Some UW fans might argue that isn't a good thing considering Meyer's averages have dipped from 41.5 yards in 2012 to 38.6 yards in 2013 to 37.4 yards last season.
Meyer struggled to handle the rugby-style punts incorporated by then-special teams coach Jeff Genyk in 2013 and again last season.
