In a rare Monday night tilt, the No. 14 Wisconsin Badgers (3-2-0, 3-2-0-0-1-0 Big Ten) efficiently picked apart the No. 15 Penn State Nittany Lions (0-3-0, 0-3-0-0-0-0 Big Ten) defense in a 6-3 victory at LaBahn Arena in Madison.
Wisconsin goalie Robbie Beydoun found himself under siege in the first two periods, facing 44 shots on goal, but he stood tall and saved 42 of those shots which helped the Badgers, who only mustered nine shots on goal in the first two periods, to a 3-2 lead entering the final stanza.
