The Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball team announced on Friday afternoon that former Badger guard, video coordinator and native of Racine, Sharif Chambliss has been hired as an assistant coach.
Chambliss played for Wisconsin during the 2004-05 season, playing in 34 games (30 starts), averaging 7.5 points, 2.8 assists and 2.0 rebounds, while shooting 36 percent from the field and 39 percent from three-point range.
Chambliss played three seasons at Penn State prior to transferring to Wisconsin.
