Good news for the Wisconsin men’s basketball program, as head coach Greg Gard announced on Monday via press release that Ohio State forward Micah Potter will transfer to UW.
According to UW in the released statement, the 6’9, 240-pound Potter will join the team during the semester break next year “and will be eligible to play beginning in December of 2019.”
According to 247Sports’s Evan Flood, Wisconsin may try to get Potter eligible for the full 2019-20 season rather than missing the first semester. As of now, he can play for the Badgers after that next season’s first semester and the 2020-21 campaign.
