Some disappointing news of out Madison on Thursday, as the UW Sports Medicine Staff announced that sophomore guard Trevor Anderson will undergo knee surgery and miss the rest of the 2018-19 season.
Anderson, who sat out last year after transferring from UW-Green Bay, was averaging 6.9 minutes per game (nice) and had scored 13 points, grabbed nine boards and dished out three assists on the year. His five-point outburst against N.C. State in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge helped ignite a Badgers comeback.
The guard re-aggravated a knee injury in Wisconsin’s road win at Iowa on Nov.
