Big names always take center stage, but at the Wisconsin football spring game Saturday, several young Badgers players gave us reason to remember their names come fall.
While established players like Vince Biegel and Corey Clement were having nice showings, several second-year players made some plays, too.
The most notable redshirt freshman to have a nice day was quarterback Alex Hornibrook. The young signal-caller went 4-of-8 for 138 yards and a pair of touchdowns, both to George Rushing.
Hornibrook did underthrow a ball that should have been returned for a touchdown by Keelon Brookins, but it was dropped.
