After joining the Wisconsin Badgers coaching staff in 2015, wide receiver coach Ted Gilmore has opted to leave the program to coach the tight ends for the Michigan State Spartans. He joins new MSU head coach, and Wisconsin alum, Mel Tucker in East Lansing.
In addition to his role with the wide receivers, Gilmore held the role of passing game coordinator for the Wisconsin offense for the past couple seasons, helping game-plan each week with offensive coordinator Joe Rudolph.
Gilmore was known for his strong relationships with players, and is credited for some improved development of Wisconsin wide receivers, most notably Quintez Cephus.
