It’s been a busy few weeks for the Wisconsin Badgers football coaching staff and it appears the last piece of the puzzle has been put in as the Badgers announced Thursday afternon that Hank Poteat will be joining the staff as the cornerbacks coach.
Poteat has had a long career in the game of football both on the playing and coaching side. After playing college football for the Pitt Panthers, Poteat was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round of the 2000 NFL draft. Poteat enjoyed a ten-year career in the NFL with a handful of teams in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, and the New England Patriots where he won a Super Bowl in 2005.
