Joel Stave is representing the Wisconsin football team at the NFL Combine, and the Twitter reaction to his invitation is exactly what you would expect from the Twitterverse.
There has been some criticism of Stave’s inclusion at the combine ahead of quarterbacks like Keenan Reynolds from Navy. Stave’s interceptions and decision-making don’t play well on Sportscenter, so many people have seen much more of his bad play than good.
Stave, however, earned a spot in the NFL combine as one of 18 quarterbacks invited.
Stave is the Badgers’ winningest quarterback in school history, and has the prototypical build for an NFL quarterback, something you can’t teach in training camp.
