One of the most significant acquisitions for the Wisconsin Badgers football program this offseason was securing the services of former Miami quarterback Tyler Van Dyke in the transfer portal.
Van Dyke brings a wealth of experience with him to Madison, having led the Miami Hurricanes for the past three seasons. During this time, Van Dyke showcased his talent by completing 63.7% of his passes, amassing 7,469 yards, 54 touchdowns, and 23 interceptions in 28 career starts.
His standout year was in 2021 as a redshirt freshman when he impressed NFL scouts by passing for 2,931 yards and a remarkable 25-6 touchdown-to-interception ratio under then-offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee.
