Heading into the 2016 college football season, the Badgers have a big hole to fill at outside linebacker. Luckily, the Wisconsin football team has another Watt up their sleeve, and T.J. Watt is off to a strong start in spring ball.
The younger brother of former Badgers J.J. Watt and Derek Watt, T.J. Watt is a redshirt junior coming off a sophomore season that saw him start to earn his first true playing time after switching positions in the preseason from tight end to linebacker.
Like his oldest brother, Watt immediately began to impress on the defensive side of the ball after the switch, and now he’s set to take a starting spot in the Badgers linebackers corps.
