It wasn’t the season the Wisconsin football team or its star running back, Braelon Allen, were hoping for. However, the Wisconsin Badgers junior tailback still managed to capture the attention of national media pundits.
In 11 games, Allen carried the ball 181 times for 984 yards and 12 touchdowns while catching a career-high 28 passes for 132 yards, totaling 1,116 yards from scrimmage. That earned the Fond du Lac native his third consecutive second-team All-Big Ten honors.
Those numbers landed Allen, who recently declared for the NFL Draft, on ESPN’s Top 100 Players of the 2023 Season list.
