Fresh off a visit with the Wisconsin football program last weekend, Semar Melvin announced his commitment to the Badgers. Melvin had originally set a decision date of June 23, but announced a change of plans. It’s likely he didn’t see any need to prolong the inevitable until Saturday.

The three-star cornerback from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Florida is the 12th pledge to the class of 2019. Wisconsin continues to rise up the team rankings with Melvin and defensive tackle Gio Paez in tow.
