The Wisconsin Badgers football program has set its season opponent for the 2028 season.
Marshall University announced that the Herd will play UW on September 2nd, 2028, at Camp Randall Stadium.

Marshall Football has signed a contract to open the 2028 season against Wisconsin.

When Wisconsin football and Marshall meet in 2028, it will be the second all-time matchup between the two programs.
