Wisconsin football recruiting: Badgers offer 2018 DL Boyd Dietzen, LB C.J. Goetz

Two talented in-state products who won state titles in 2016 received offers from the Wisconsin Badgers on Sunday.

Kimberly defensive lineman Boyd Dietzen and Waukesha (Catholic Memorial) linebacker C.J. Goetz both announced via Twitter they were offered by Wisconsin.

Dietzen recorded 56 tackles—10 for loss—along with 15 sacks and three forced fumbles for the Papermakers in 2016, according to WisSports.net. His contributions helped pave the way to the WIAA Division 1 state championship, the third straight for head coach Steve Jones’ program. He is also teammates with quarterback Danny Vanden Boom and Logan Bruss, both class of 2017 commits for Wisconsin.
