For a moment there, it looked like the Badgers were all set to land themselves a four-star talent at running back to build on the commitment of West Sayville, N.Y. quarterback Jack Coan. But when it came to the case of Groton, Mass. running back A.J. Dillon, the Badgers landing last ups on the unofficial visit tour turned out not to be enough to overcome Jim Harbaugh and playing in the Big House.
It was going to be a tough battle to land the services of Dillon, as he also had Florida State, Virginia, and Notre Dame, where Dillon's grandfather played, in his top five, though any time there is a loss on the recruiting trail, it definitely stings.
