Waunakee, Wis., quarterback Nate Carter verbally committed to the Wisconsin Badgers as a preferred walk-on for the class of 2018 on Tuesday night. The in-state standout announced his decision via Twitter
According to WisSports.net, Carter completed 62.5 percent of his passes for 2,240 yards and 25 touchdown passes to only six interceptions during the 2017 season. He helped lead Waunakee to a 14-0 record and a WIAA Division 2 state championship this year, the latter of which was played at Camp Randall Stadium in November.
Rated a two-star recruit by 247Sports, Carter’s Hudl profile lists him at 6’5 and 200 pounds.
