Former Wisconsin football Wide receiver Quintez Cephus, one of the five players suspended by the NFL for gambling infractions last April, has agreed to a one-year deal with the Bills, as reported by Adam Schefter.
Cephus, a fifth-round pick from the Wisconsin Badgers in the 2020 NFL Draft, was released by the Lions last April along with safety C.J. Moore after receiving an indefinite suspension for betting on NFL games.
Cephus was among the five players reinstated by the NFL earlier this month. The former Wisconsin football standout confirmed the Bills deal on social media, expressing gratitude with a post that read, “Thank you, God,” and adding a Bills Mafia hashtag.
