A pair of former Wisconsin football players, Denver Broncos tight end Owen Daniels and Carolina Panthers punter Brad Nortman, will play in Super Bowl 50 next Sunday.
The duo helped their respective teams advance through the NFL playoffs, and each will be making their first appearance in the Super Bowl in a couple of weeks.
Daniels, a nine-year NFL vet, is in his first season with the Broncos after following newly hired head coach Gary Kubiak from Baltimore to Denver in the off-season. The former Badger was a huge part of the Broncos win last Sunday over the New England Patriots, as he scored Denver’s only two touchdowns of the game.
