As expected, Joe Schobert earned team MVP honors at Wisconsin's team banquet Friday night.
2015 has been the "Year of the Show," or "Year of the Scho-bert"
The Wisconsin Badgers football held their annual banquet on Friday at Union South and senior outside linebacker Joe Schobert -- who leads the team in a variety of categories for a unit ranked No. 1 in scoring defense -- was named UW's most valuable player during the awards portion of the event.
Schobert, who won the Butkus-Fitzgerald Big Ten Linebacker of the Year award and Walter Camp All-America second-team honors in the past couple of weeks, added to his resume with the Jimmy Demetral Team MVP award.
