Heading into the break, the Wisconsin Badgers hold a 13-7 lead over the USC Trojans in the Holiday Bowl, buoyed by a pair of field goals from Rafael Gaglianone and a touchdown run from Corey Clement.
The Badgers displayed an impressive offensive outpouring in the first half, out-passing USC 139-77 and out-rushing the Trojans 99-41.
Wisconsin opened the game with a second-quarter Rafael Gaglianone field goal, and a 6-yard Corey Clement run made it a 10-0 lead for the Badgers later in the second quarter.
USC answered with about five minutes left in the half, scoring on a 1-yard run from Justin Davis on fourth and goal.
