In a game the Wisconsin Football program desperately needed to win, the Badgers made it interesting. Trailing by two touchdowns midway through the fourth quarter this team looked beat. There wasn’t much reason to expect a comeback. No matter what, this team wouldn’t quit.
The star of the day was Jonathan Taylor who stood out the most among several Badgers. His career day saw him rush for 321 yards and three touchdowns, including the winner in triple overtime as the Badgers stole one 47-44 over the Purdue Boilermakers.
Andrew Van Ginkel played one of the best games of his Wisconsin career saving a total of 11 points all by himself.
