Wisconsin Football: Badgers Reportedly Close to Replacing Dave Aranda

The Wisconsin Badgers are reportedly close to naming their next defensive coordinator following Dave Aranda’s move to LSU following the Holiday Bowl, and the move appears to be an inside hire as UW outside linebacker coach Tim Tibesar appears to be the next man in line for the job.

Quoting sources close to the Wisconsin football program, Wisconsin Journal Sentinel reporter Jeff Potrykus reported that the Badgers are leaning toward Tibesar as the likeliest candidate to replace Dave Aranda.

Tibesar, who played college football at North Dakota, has been a defensive coordinator for his Alma Mater, North Dakota (2004-05), as well as Kansas State (2007-08) and Purdue (2012).
