Quarterback is a position of need for the Wisconsin football team in the very near future, and they got a little bit closer to stability Thursday afternoon when Jack Coan out of Sayville High School in New York gave his commitment.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound pro style quarterback is considered a three-star prospect by 247 Sports. He’s considered the third-best prospect out of the state of New York and the 18th-best pro-style quarterback prospect, nationally.

The Badgers head into the 2016 season knowing they will likely be looking for a starter again in 2017.
