Wisconsin Football: Badgers land Pittsburgh transfer Rachid Ibrahim

Running Back U just got stronger as the Wisconsin Badgers football team landed former Pittsburgh Panthers tailback Rachid Ibrahim.

Ibrahim will be joining the Badgers for one season after announcing his departure from the Pittsburgh program in early Spring. Entering Wisconsin as a graduate transfer, Ibrahim will immediately join into the Badgers’ running back rotation as a solid veteran set to help out youngsters Bradrick Shaw and Chris James.

Ibrahim has not seen much action over the past two years, but saw 60 total carries for 399 yards in his first two seasons with the Panthers, which were under then head coach Paul Chryst.
