The Wisconsin football team continues to draw in homegrown talent as the Badgers added offensive tackle Matt Henningsen out of Menomonee Falls as a preferred walk-on.
Henningsen, a 6-foot-5, 260-pound offensive lineman, joins a class of 2017 that already features a heavy Wisconsin presence.
The Badgers have already landed the state’s top four prospects, offensive tackle Tyler Beach,tight end Jake Ferguson, offensive guard Logan Bruss and defensive end Aaron Vopal.
Alex Fenten, a tight end and the No. 6 overall prospect in the state, has also committed to the Badgers.
Wisconsin’s top 2017 commit, offensive guard Kayden Lyles, recently moved to Madison as his brother, quarterback Kare Lyles, joined the Badgers this spring.
