Wisconsin football fans have suffered through some grueling losses over the past five seasons, and Saturday’s Senior Day loss to the Northwestern Wildcats is the most recent example.
Overall, the Wisconsin Badgers have had a fairly successful football team in the last five years. The Badgers have accumulated a 47-19 record since 2011 with two Big Ten Championships and a pair of Rose Bowl appearances during that span – pretty impressive numbers for the program considering Wisconsin has gone through three head coaches during that time as well.
With several big wins, including victories over Michigan State and Nebraska in conference title games in 2011 and 2012, respectively, and nine victories against top 25 teams, it has been a good stretch for the Wisconsin football program.
