Senior Tanner McEvoy has alternated between safety and wide receiver during fall camp, but the Wisconsin Badgers appear to have decided on a spot for last year’s opening game starting quarterback. Earlier this week, it was reported by Wisconsin State Journal’s Jason Galloway that McEvoy will stick with the receivers.
When McEvoy arrived in Madison in 2013, he played some wide receiver late in fall camp but a wrist injury moved him to safety where he played the rest of the season. McEvoy proved he could play well on the defensive side of the ball, but he will make a bigger difference alongside top wideout Alex Erickson this season.
