Most Wisconsin Badgers fans and college football fans thought J.J. Watt was headed for a strong NFL career when he was picked 11th overall in the 2011 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans. Not many, however, thought he would quickly become one of the best defensive players in the history of the NFl, but that is the path Watt is currently forging for himself.
This weekend Watt was named the NFL’s Defensive Player of the year. It’s an amazing achievement in its own right, but it was also his second straight year winning the award and his third time winning the award in the last four years.
