It was the last exhibition tune-up for the Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball team, defeating Division-III UW-Stout 85-56 on Sunday afternoon at the Kohl Center.
Two true freshmen led the way for head coach Greg Gard’s squad, as guards Kobe King and Brad Davison scored 17 and 13 points, respectively.
King’s 17 points were a game-high, and he hit six of nine shots from the field. Davison converted on three of seven shots, including three of six from three-point range.
The Badgers shot 50.9 percent (29 of 57) from the field and converted 69.
