Per a report from CBS Sports’ college basketball insider Matt Norlander, the Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball team will not be playing in the Fort Myers Tip-Off this year as originally scheduled. The other scheduled participants were Colorado, Butler and South Florida. According to Norlander, the Bulls still plan on holding the even just with, uh, new teams.
Sources: Wisconsin, a potential top-10 team, has pulled out of the Fort Myers Tip-Off. Same field that formerly included Colorado + Butler. USF is the fourth team in this MTE and the plan is still to hold the event late November.
