A member of Wisconsin's basketball team appears ready to transfer.
Redshirt sophomore guard Riley Dearring announced on Twitter Sunday evening he plans to transfer from UW to another program.
Dearring has played in only three games (six minutes total) during the first 11 games of Wisconsin's 2015-16 season, averaging 0.7 points per game. A three-star recruit out of Minnetonka, Minn., who was a Minnesota Mr. Basketball finalist, his role on the team has been limited since his arrival in Madison. He appeared in 15 games during the 2014-15 season, scoring a career-high five points against Boise State on Nov.
