According to a tweet from college basketball news breaking robot Jon Rothstein, the Wisconsin Badgers will be heading to Hawaii next season to play in the 38th edition of the Maui Invitational.
Rothstein notes that Oregon, Texas A&M, Butler, Notre Dame, Houston, St. Mary’s and host Chaminade will be the other teams in the popular non-conference tournament. While this team list doesn’t include any traditional blue-bloods, it is still a great opportunity for the Badgers to notch some quality wins in a tropical environment.
The Badgers last journeyed to Hawaii in 2016, where they beat Tennessee and Georgetown before falling to No.
