Kamari McGee, the Wisconsin basketball team’s backup point guard, is officially on the road to recovery.
The Badger’s spark plug announced on social media that he’d be sidelined for the foreseeable future following successful surgery on his injured foot. The injury stemmed from an incident against Indiana in January. He missed a total of 11 games before making a return for the final seven games of the season.
“This past season tested me in new ways, and part of the journey included the adversity and setback of a foot injury suffered midway through the year,” McGee wrote.
