Early Wednesday, it was announced that Wisconsin Badgers guard Jordan Hill would be leaving the basketball program to explore other options as a graduate transfer.
Hill will graduate this May, but will hold one more year of basketball eligibility due to him red-shirting his freshman year under Bo Ryan. Entering next season, Hill was set to be the lone senior on scholarship. With his departure, the young-looking Badgers will be without a senior scholarship player and now have two open scholarships to either grant to a late signee, existing player, or incoming transfer.
Hill rarely saw the court under coach Bo Ryan, but saw a huge spike in his minutes and production last year in his sophomore season once Greg Gard took over the team following Ryan’s retirement.
