In the second-to-last game of the NBA regular season, Frank Kaminsky went off for an 18-point, 11-rebound night for the Charlotte Hornets, recording his first career double-double in the NBA Sunday night.
The Hornets lost the game 113-98 to the Washington Wizards despite Kaminsky’s efforts.
The former Wisconsin big man showed off plenty of what led him to an award-filled season his final year with the Badgers.
Kaminsky knocked down all three of his three-point attempts, shot 4-of-8 overall from the field, and hit 7-of-9 free throw attempts. He grabbed 11 rebounds (two offensive) as well on the night in 30 minutes of playing time.
