A new name that Wisconsin basketball recruiting sickos will probably remember — Brandon Angel from Stanford — has entered his name into the transfer portal and could be someone the Badgers contact.
Greg Gard and the Wisconsin Badgers offered Angel as a four-star recruit in the 2020 recruiting class and even hosted him on an official visit. In the case of Angel, his head coach at Stanford was let go, and he’s decided to explore all of his options in the wake of that news.
You might recall Angel’s recruiting story, where Wisconsin basketball coaches were en route to visit him when they received a call from four-star forward Ben Carlson, who announced his commitment to the Badgers, effectively filling the 6-foot-8 forward’s potential spot.
