After a big victory, there’s always the possibility of a let-down in the next game. The Wisconsin basketball team can’t afford to have that let-down, and must refocus following Saturday’s big victory over Maryland and prepare for the Michigan State Spartans.
There’s no denying Saturday’s win was the biggest of the season. Knocking off the top team in conference play at one of the best home courts in the country in convincing fashion is a giant feather in the Badgers cap. It’s even more satisfying considering the devastating loss to Maryland earlier in the season on a deep, last-second three-pointer from Melo Trimble.
