While much of the season has been an up and down battle so far for the Wisconsin basketball team, the Badgers are fresh off one of the biggest victories of the season, a 77-76 win over the Michigan State Spartans at the Kohl Center Sunday afternoon.
Wisconsin is 10-9 on the season, but is close to digging itself an insurmountable hole in conference play. The Badgers are 2-4 in Big Ten play, and have yet to string together a pair of conference wins in back-to-back games.
The last time the Badgers won back-to-back games was the changeover between the Bo Ryan era and the Greg Gard era, when Ryan won his last game as the Badgers coach against Texas A&M Corpus Christi and Gard won his first game as interim head coach against UW-Green Bay.
