Following another big victory for the Wisconsin basketball team Wednesday night against Iowa, the Badgers have improved their post-season resume in the eyes of ESPN’s Joe Lunardi, and move up to a seven-seed in his latest predictions.
The Badgers debuted in Lunardi’s rankings earlier this month after defeating Maryland on the road, earning a nine-seed and a matchup against eight-seed Colorado. Later in the month Wisconsin moved up to an 8-seed, and was projected to play nine-seed Connecticut.
The Badgers are on the move again, up to a seven-seed in the East region, with a projected matchup against now 10-seed Colorado in Lunardi’s most recent bracket.
