The conference tournaments have finished and the final bracket is in. The Wisconsin basketball team has secured a seven-seed in the East Region for the 2016 NCAA Tournament, and will take on Pittsburgh in the opening round.
Wisconsin will return to the tournament after making it all the way to the National Championship game a season ago before eventually losing to Duke.
This year, the Badgers will start from a much lower seed, and will begin play on Friday against 10-seed Pittsburgh.
The winner of the 7-10 matchup will advance to play against the winner of two-seed Xavier and 15-seed Weber State.
