Led by a combined 38 points from Nigel Hayes and Vitto Brown, the Wisconsin basketball team earned its sixth straight victory Wednesday night with a 72-61 victory over the visiting Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Despite a rocky first 10 minutes of play, the Badgers closed out the victory dominating the second half, leading by 10 points or more for the final nine minutes of play.
Wisconsin shot 51.2 percent from the field (22 of 43) and were absolutely on fire from deep, shooting 61.1 percent from three-point range (11 of 18).
