Following a big victory over the Maryland Terrapins Saturday night, the Wisconsin basketball team is back on the NCAA tournament radar, and has made the field in Joe Lunardi’s latest bracket for ESPN bracketology.
Wisconsin comes in as a No. 9 seed in the latest effort from Lunardi, playing No. 8 seed Colorado in the Midwest bracket. The Badgers are listed as one of Lunardi’s four “last four byes” teams, along with Syracuse, Seton Hall and Pittsburgh.
Heading into the matchup with Maryland on Saturday, Wisconsin was one of Lunardi’s “first four out” teams, just on the bubble of a tournament bid.
