As more and more prognosticators dive into the predictions for the upcoming NCAA Tournament, the Wisconsin basketball team continues to be among the field for the big dance. ESPN’s Joe Lunardi has pegged the Badgers a nine-seed in his latest bracketology effort, released Monday, February 22.
The Badgers debuted as a nine-seed in Lunardi’s bracket released on February 15, and stayed put in the same matchup against Colorado in the Midwest region for his bracket released on February 18.
Following a loss to Michigan State on February 18 and a win over Illinois on Sunday night, the Badgers have moved up a spot to an eight-seed in Lunardi’s latest, and are now projected to play Connecticut in the West bracket.
