The University of Wisconsin athletic department released a statement on Wednesday afternoon saying that former Badgers forward, and the program’s all-time leading scorer, Alando Tucker will be an interim assistant coach for the 2019-2020 season.
Tucker is taking the spot of Howard Moore who is currently on medical leave after a horrific and tragic car accident and will not be coaching this season.
What exactly Tucker’s role on the bench will be was not discussed but since this is his first ever coaching job he probably won’t have a heaping helping of responsibilities right off the bat.
