The 2016 NCAA Tournament is officially upon us, and Wisconsin Badgers fans must wait no longer for their team to take the court. The Badgers begin play Friday night with a 7-10 matchup against the Pittsburgh Panthers.
It’s the 18th-straight tournament the Wisconsin Badgers have punched a ticket to, and the Badgers will look to continue the recent success Wisconsin has found in the tournament.
Last year, Frank Kaminsky, Sam Dekker, Josh Gasser and co. led the Badgers to the National Championship game, a year after making a run to the Final Four
Those Badgers have moved on, however, as has their coach, making room for a new, younger group of Badgers.
