The Badgers need a win to keep pace with the 3-0 Iowa Hawkeyes in Big Ten play, while an Illinois loss pretty much places the Illini out of Big Ten West contention with a 1-2 conference record.
The Badgers will hit the field fresh off of a 24-7 Homecoming victory over the Purdue Boilermakers last weekend that saw quarterback Joel Stave throw for over 300 yards and complete 30 39 pass attempts.
