It was not the team showing perhaps envisioned for either Wisconsin Badger men or women’s track teams at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Wisconsin Badger track failed to distinguish itself in any events over the four-day competition held at historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
The Wisconsin Badger women’s team finished tied for 62nd with two points. Host Oregon won the women’s track competition with 64 points.
Wisconsin Badger junior Sarah Disanza placed 7th in the women’s 5000-meter race running 15:48.51, the fifth-fastest time in program history. Disanza earned 1st Team All-American honors for her effort.
